Slow down and savour the tactile experience of of putting ink to paper. Enjoy the meditative process of writing again through journalling and calligraphy. A time to take your mind off things and let your hands create.

With the increasing exposure to screen time, calligraphy is wonderful way to disconnect with technology and reconnect with ourselves by being present.

The session starts with a short session of gratitude journalling. Writing and reflecting provides an outlet for processing emotions and reducing stress, which can help to calm the physiological stress response and improve overall well-being.

What you will learn:
- How to use the traditional dip pen.
- Simple exercises to warm up and understand how the nib works
- Basic strokes
- Lowercase
- Letter connections

There will be lots of hands-on practice and structured step-by-step guidance. Taught in a relaxed manner, this workshop is a wonderful way to reconnect with your soul and with others in real time. You will take home a small framed memento of your hand-written word.

Kids aged 9 and above are welcome!

Materials participants will receive:
- Pen holder
- 2 x Pointed nibs
- 1 x Bottle of Ink
- The Letter J Supply Instructional booklet
