Environment plays an important role in the preservation of the artwork. All paintings are protected with 3 layers of archival varnish.
Humidity: As raw cotton canvases are more delicate, do ensure the environment the painting is placed in is not humid, as it may encourage the growth of mildew or mould.
Cleaning: Avoid spraying liquid or using a damp cloth directly on the canvas as it is porous and will leave a stain when it dries. Use a clean, soft brush to dust occasionally.
